I am a South African, living in Cape Town ,a place where I am rewarded with natural beauty and an amazing diversity of fauna and flora nestled in my environment. The most impressive asset of my city is its extraordinary surroundings and proximity to the oceans, mountains and forests which is home to a variety of mother nature’s creatures. It has always been a pleasure to discover the Mother City that unselfishly immerses you in nature and optimism of which draws my inspiration through my imagery. As a hobby, I started to photograph birds in the lush botanical garden of Kirstenbosch which is nestled at the base of the infamous, Table Mountain.I am hopelessly addicted to bird photography and spend hours waiting for the right moment, the right light and the right encounter to capture the extrinsic beauty in its natural environment.
